Covid-19 diet: Eat these foods for lunch and dinner to build good immunity

Eat breakfast like a King, Lunch like a Prince and Dinner like a Pauper”

Well, this is a great rule to maintain a good and healthy lifestyle. Recently, we have told you about the Immunity booster tea and the types of breakfasts, one should consider in these uncertain times. Now, let’s see what one should prefer for lunch and dinner along with evening snacks and before going to bed. Give a quick read.

Lunch: Experts strongly recommend to include vegetables, carbohydrates and protein rich dishes during your meals.

Start your lunch with a mixed vegetable salad and prefer below mentioned ones along with a small cup of vegetable curry –

1 medium cup of white rice

1 medium cup of brown rice

1 medium cup of broken wheat

1 medium cup of millets

Also, add one of the below mentioned dishes –

1 small cup of vegetable dal

1 small cup of sambar

1 small cup of rasam

Also, eat your lunch with 1 small cup of curd or buttermilk.

Evening: Eat any seasonal fruit along with any one of the below mentioned seeds that are rich in Omega-3 fat sources.

1 tablespoon of flax seeds

1 tablespoon of pumpkin seeds

1 tablespoon of sunflower seeds

1 tablespoon of sesame seeds

Also, drink any one of the below given beverages.

1 small cup of Green tea

1 small cup of Homemade Kada

Dinner: Start your dinner with a small cup of vegetable soup and another small cup of mixed vegetable salad. Eat any of the below given rotis along with a small cup of vegetable curry.

2 medium sized phulkas

2 medium sized chapathis

2 medium sized stuffed parathas

Also, include any one of the high protein dishes.

1 small cup of vegetable dal

1 small cup of chicken curry

1 small cup of fish curry

Bedtime: During bedtime, prefer any one of the drinks that are mentioned below.

1 small cup of lukewarm lemon water

1 small cup of cinnamon milk

1 small cup of turmeric milk

1 small cup of chamomile tea
