Summer special: Here’s the recipe for nutritious raw mango chutney

Summer is here and so are the raw mangoes! The raw mangoes are rich in Vitamin C, Calcium and Magnesium. And, who doesn’t love the tangy and spicy raw mango chutney. Interestingly, this chutney is very nutritious and also very easy to make.

We have summed the recipe along with the nutritional facts. Read and try on.

Ingredients:

1 raw mango

1/4th tablespoon of red chilli powder

1 or 2 dry red chillies

1 – 2 tablespoon of oil

1/4th tablespoon of mustard seeds

1/4th tablespoon of turmeric

1/4th tablespoon of cumin seeds

Required amount of salt

Note: as per the recommendation, salt intake should be 2 to 2.5 grams per day.

How to prepare?

At first, peel the raw mango and chop it into fine cubes and then make a fine paste out of it.

Then, take a pan and add oil to it and then add dry chillies, mustard seeds, cumin seeds. Allow it to sizzle for couple of seconds.

Now, add turmeric, red chilli powder and salt.

Add the raw mango paste to it and mix it well

That’s it. The raw mango chutney is ready and one can enjoy it with some hot khichdi or curd rice.
