Finally, the summer is here along with delicious mangoes. But, are you worried that eating mangoes will lead to weight gain? We say, this is the most-discussed topic around the world and nutritionist Pooja Malhotra has an answer for us!

She took to her Instagram handle and wrote, “Mango, the king of friends is wrongly demonised, often avoided by weight watchers and diabetics. The truth is that mangoes are rich in a whole lot of nutrients, the sugars present in mango are natural sugars, accompanied by a lot of fibre, thus it has a moderate glycemic index. It can be included in the diet of a diabetic and of weight watchers with careful planning.”
