Undeniably, the Covid-19 pandemic impacted a lot on our physical and mental conditions. In fact, it has led to increased depression, anxiety, substance abuse and suicidal ideation as well.

To everyone’s surprise, not just adults, even kids are experiencing severe issues related to mental and physical health.

Several surveys including those from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Kaiser Foundation found that 40 percent of U.S. adults reported struggling with mental health and/or substance abuse during the latter part of June 2020 alone.

Experts are suggesting and highly recommending that some form of physical activity is mandatory and important now more than ever.

This will help adults and children to improve their mental health, behavior and academic performance.

As per studies, low-intensity exercise has been shown to improve brain function and make people feel better while high-intensity workouts three to four times a week can reduce clinical depression.

So it is widely advised to take up some physical activity to improve the mental health.
