Dengue cases on rise: Here are the symptoms

Amidst the battle against the Covid-19, there is a sharp rise in the Dengue cases. Dengue is caused by a virus of the Flaviviridae family and there are four distinct, but closely related, serotypes of the virus that cause dengue (DENV-1, DENV-2, DENV-3 and DENV-4).

So, it is advisable to get educated and take all necessary precautions.

Here are the symptoms:

1. Sudden and high fever
2. Severe headache
3. Pain behind the eyes
4. Fatigue
5. Nausea
6. Vomiting
7. Severe join and muscle pain
8. Skin rashes
