Covid-19: Pregnant and breastfeeding women are slower to respond to vaccination
A new study has revealed that pregnant and breastfeeding women are slower to respond to vaccination. They respond very slowly to the first dose and after the second dose, it will be normal, as per the study.
Pregnant women are more likely to become severely ill from Covid because during pregnancy, the immune system is modified to fetus – leaving pregnant women more susceptible to the pathogens like Coronavirus.
