Covid-19 diet: Boost your immunity with this special tea

Amidst these uncertain and challenging times, it is mandatory to build a great immunity system to fight the deadly coronavirus and one can achieve this only through proper food and drinks. So, we have come up an immunity booster special tea made with easily available kitchen ingredients. Below is the recipe. Read on.

Ingredients:

2-inch ginger

1-inch cinnamon

½ tablespoon cloves

5 cardamoms

1 tablespoon pepper powder

4 cups water

1 tablespoon jaggery

½ tablespoon turmeric

1 tablespoon lemon juice

How to make tea?

Take a mortar pestle and crush the ingredients – 2-inch ginger, 1-inch cinnamon, ½ tablespoon cloves, 5 cardamoms and 1 tablespoon pepper powder into a rough mixture.

Then, take four cups of water and add the mixture to it along with 1 tablespoon jiggery and ½ tablespoon turmeric.

Now, let it boil for 5 minutes.

Make sure all the flavours are absorbed well.

Now, strain the tea and add 1 tablespoon lemon juice.

That’s it. The immunity boosting tea is ready.

NOTE: Drink it in moderation i.e., not more than 2 cups.
