Covid-19 in India: 60,753 Covid cases, 1,647 deaths in 24 hours
The Covid-19 cases are decreasing with each passing day across the country and in the last 24 hours. India recorded 60,753 new cases of Coronavirus.
According to the health ministry’s data, 97,743 patients recovered in 24 hours, taking the total tally of recovered to 2,86,78,390. The active caseload in India now stands at 7,60,019.
With this, India’s recovery rate has improved to 96.16 per cent.
The top five states which registered maximum fresh cases of Covid-19 are Kerala with 11,361 cases, followed by Maharashtra with 9,798 cases, Tamil Nadu with 8,633 cases, Andhra Pradesh with 6,341 cases and Karnataka with 5,783 cases.
On the other hand, as per the data, a total of 27,23,88,783 Covid vaccine doses have so far been administered across the country.
