Fenugreek and Brown rice khichdi is insanely delicious!

Brown rice is healthy! Period. It becomes super food yet delicious when you make khichdi with it by adding fenugreek seeds. So, we bought this special recipe for you. Give a quick read and try it out!

Ingredients:

Brown rice – 30g
Split Green gram dal – 15g
Sprouted Fenugreek seed – 1tsp
Ginger & garlic paste – 1tsp
Bay leaf – 1
Shahzeera – ¼tsp
Salt – ¼tsp
Oil – ½tbsp

Process:

  1. At first, wash and soak brown rice for half an hour.
  2. In a pot add oil, ginger garlic paste, shahzeera and bay leaf.
  3. Now, add sprouted fenugreek seeds.
  4. Then, add brown rice, green gram dal and mix well.
  5. Add enough water and pressure cook on medium flame for 5 whistles.
  6. Serve hot.
