Rise in hair-loss complaints after Covid infection
According to doctors, there has been a sharp increase in the number of patients complaining about hair loss post Covid-19. The doctors at Apollo Hospital, Indraprastha, this is because of the reaction to stressors, nutritional deficiency and inflammation.
Shockingly, hair loss complaints have become very common among post-Covid patients.
Usually, it is experienced by patients approximately 30 days after recovery but in some patients, it has been observed even when they were suffering from Covid-19.
Apart from hair loss, other complications include – skin allergies, rashes, dry eyes, weakness and fatigue.
