Lucknow: Nearly 400 admitted in hospitals due to viral diseases
Shockingly, more than 400 people, including 40 children, are admitted in various government hospitals of Uttar Pradesh’s Lucknow. In OPD, 20 per cent of the patients have come complaining of fever, cold and congestion.
Even though doctors said these are seasonal flu, panic gripped in the hospitals due to the sudden rise of patients with viral fever.
There are instructions in the hospitals to not take patients in the OPD section without conducting a Covid antigen test.
Balrampur Hospital, Civil Hospital and Lohia Institute have seen a majority of the recent viral cases. More than 300 patients have come to OPD with fever problems.
