Covid-19 in Russia: More than 20,000 new cases and 808 deaths
Viral infection caused by coronavirus is sending shivers down the spine in Russia. In the last 24 hours, Russia reported a record-high 808 coronavirus-related deaths and 21,932 new Covid-19 cases, including 2,294 in Moscow.
The daily reported cases have dropped from a huge peak in July in Russia.
As per authorities, the rise in the daily cases is sue to the Delta variant and a slow vaccination rate.
