Covid-19 in Kerala: 20,000 new cases, positivity rate rises to nearly 16%
The covid-19 in southern state of India, Kerala, shook the state for sure with increasing new cases each and every day. Now, it has recorded 21,119 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, taking the tally of cumulative cases to 35,86,693.
And the total death toll in the state reached 18,004 on Tuesday.
Since Monday, as many as 18,493 people have been cured of the infection, taking the total recoveries to 33,96,184 and the number of active cases in the state to 1,71,985.
Currently, there are 4,82,290 people under surveillance in various districts of the state. Of these, 4,53,540 are in home or institutional quarantine and 28,750 in hospitals.
