Covid-19 in India: PM Modi chairs review meeting
Amidst the growing concern of Covid-19 third wave, Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired a high-level meeting to review the situation in the country.
News agency PTI reported that sources said PM Modi also reviewed the Covid-19 vaccination drive in the country during the meeting. The meeting comes a day after Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan said second coronavirus wave in India is not over yet.
The health secretary had said 35 districts are still reporting a weekly Covid positivity rate of over 10 per cent while it is between five to 10 per cent in 30 districts.
