Covid-19 in India: 43,393 new cases in last 24 hours
India is still recovering from the deadly second wave of Coronavirus. On Friday, 43,393 new Covid-19 cases have been registered in the last 24 hours. With this, India has active cases of 4,58,727.
As per the data of Health Ministry, the number of positive cases identified per 100 – is 2.42 per cent, less than 3 per cent for 18 straight days. The recovery rate is at 97.19 per cent.
So far, 36.89 crore vaccine doses have been administered since the nationwide vaccination drive began.
On the other hand, vaccination for children will start by September with the Zydus vaccine for 12 to 18-year-olds.
