Vaccines from Pfizer and BioNTech neutralises Covid-19 Brazil variant
According to a lab study published in the New England Journal of Medicine, the Covid-19 vaccine from Pfizer Inc and BioNTech SE waas able to neutralise a new variant of the Coronavirus spreading rapidly in Brazil.
As per the earlier studies, the Pfizer had found that it’s vaccine neutralised other contagious variants found in United Kingdom and South Africa.
The Pfizer stated that it believes the current vaccine is highly likely to still protect against the South African variant. However, it is planning to test a third booster dose of the vaccine along with the version retooled especially to fight the variant. So that they can understand ever more better about the immune response.
