Telangana: 887 new coronavirus cases, 4 fatalities in last 24 hours
Health officials on Thursday said that 887 new coronavirus cases have been registered in Telangana along with 4 fatalities in the last 24 hours. Shockingly, this is the highest single day-jump in cases in 2021.
Admissions to the hospitals treating Covid patients in the state continued to increase. And the death toll rose to 1,701.
Also, the number of patients undergoing treatment in government-run and private hospitals has increased up to 3,345 from 3,092 the previous day.
Health authorities conducted 59,297 tests during the last 24 hours. While 51,049 samples were tested in government laboratories, 8,248 samples were tested in private laboratories.
