Covid-19 in India: Daily cases fall below 3 lakh
For the first time since April 21st, the daily Covid-19 cases in India dropped below the 3-lakh mark. In the last 24 hours, 2.81 lakh new cases have been registered and 4106 Covid patients have died.
And today morning, the positivity rate stood at 17.88 per cent.
Since April 28th, the country has been recording more than 3000 deaths every day and more than 2.7 lakh people have died so far.
The government has shared new SOPs to tackle the spread in rural parts, which have been hit hard by the second wave of Covid.
And on the other hand, many nations have been sending medical supplies after country’s healthcare system was burdened by the second Covid wave that led to a deluge of distress messages.
