Covid-19 in India: 66% adults vaccinated with at least first dose so far
On Thursday, the central government informed that 66 per cent of the eligible adult population in India have been inoculated with at least one dose of a Covid-19 vaccine.
“About two-third of the adult population have been vaccinated with one dose. That is 66% of the 18+ age group received at least one dose. Almost a quarter of the adult population have received both doses, it’s an important milestone,” said Dr VK Paul, NITI Ayog member and head of the Covid task force.
