Sonali Bendre: Didn’t let the C-word define my life
Actress Sonali Bendre is a cancer survivor as she was diagnosed with metastatic cancer in July 2018. The 46-year-old actress took to her Instagram handle on the occasion of Cancer Survivors Day and posted a powerful picture and words.
She wrote, How time flies… today when I look back, I see strength, I see weakness but most importantly I see the will to not let the C word define how my life will be after it.”
She added, “You create the life you choose. The journey is what you make of it… so remember to take one day at a time and to switch on the sunshine.”
